This rare bottom cultivated cocktail variety is raised in one of the few unique rocky spaces on the bottom of the Damariscotta River estuary in Maine. Bottom cultivated oysters are left to grow naturally in the cold, clean, nutrient rich waters resulting in a deeper cup and more robust flavors. Limited supply.

The oysters we ship will be good for up to 7-10 days while they are kept in a refrigerator.

When you receive your package, we recommend placing the oysters in a bowl or tray (open container) and putting them in your refrigerator. The bowl/tray will make sure small shells don’t get everywhere as well as water from the oysters. Putting a damp cloth on top will help to keep the oysters maintain humidity as well.

For safety and freshness, avoid letting oysters sit in melted ice or water. Oysters exposed to warmth or fresh water for too long can spoil and become unsafe to eat.
